One of my goals as a printing studio is to provide you with a broad variety of materials to print on so that as you consider the mood of your image you are able to complement that feeling with the perfect surface and material. Technology has brought so many options to support our ideas. Canson’s Museum Pro Canvas Matte is my favorite canvas material that I have tried. It is made with 100% pure cotton canvas so it does not have the ‘plastic’ look that many digital prints on canvas seem to have these days. This canvas has the supple feeling of cloth. It is thin and soft (for canvas) so it makes it easy to stretch over a frame if that is the presentation method that you are choosing. The image detail and colors are rich. This material works well for many subjects (even portraiture because the pores of the canvas are so small). This material has an elegant feel to it that would work well especially for fine art reproductions. I am personally excited to use it for my photography as well. Enjoy!

* Prints will shift in color if you display them in rooms that have windows. To prevent this from occurring, you need to use UV protected glass or UV protected plexi glass when framing your prints. Most ready-made frames from discount stores do not come with UV glass. It is not very expensive to go to your local glass or frame shop and purchase the UV glass separately.
