Canson’s Infinity Edition Etching Rag is lustrous and beautiful in all the ways that 310 gsm archival papers tend to be. We love to hold them, the way they make our art feel like an object and they are rich to the touch. But this paper also has the purest white tone available today without having any Optical Brightening Agents. So this alone is a great reason to choose it.
Edition Etching rag has stunning image sharpness (provided that your files are sharp of course). It has a texture slightly similar to Hahnemuhle Hemp and is a 100% cotton paper. This paper is perfect for color photographs, detailed work as well as black and white photographs and drawings.
Canson fine art papers are made at their fine art paper mill in France. They have been making paper since 1557 and have been used by some of history’s leading artists such as Picassso, Chagal, Warhol, Miro, Ingres and Alechinsky.

* Prints will shift in color if you display them in rooms that have windows. To prevent this from occurring, you need to use UV protected glass or UV protected plexi glass when framing your prints. Most ready-made frames from discount stores do not come with UV glass. It is not very expensive to go to your local glass or frame shop and purchase the UV glass separately.
